What is your favorite game region and why?

This used to be a hard poll in the past, but now due to the plays of the games, it makes it much easier to vote. It's quite simple what I'm going to pick.

Everyone noticed that Sinnoh has no(wild)fire pokemon whatsoever.

Fire types can sometimes be useful.

I would choose Hoenn...but then again, the originals just pwn. So that means Kanto.

But for now, I would choose Hoenn.

Thats a toughie, Im stuck between Johto and Orre. Johto is this spectactular Region that has been taken away from us for so long............ But Orre is newer and has the best pokemon of all: Shadow Pokemon

I've seen wild Ponyta in Sinnoh. And once you actually leave the country, you start finding Slugma, Macargo, Camerupt, and Numel.

Oof, I'm gonna have to pick Hoenn. Not because of the Pokémon you can find in it, but because of its originality.

I dunno, I just...liked it. XD Ruby was a fantastic game to me, and the Hoenn region just seemed to be a little bit more lively and fun at that time when it was originally released.

I like Sinnoh because of one reason.

Very short sea route, and snow mountain.

Fantastic dungeon and music too, so yeah.

Johto for me. Even ignoring the fact that it came from my favourite game, it just had the best feel to it. The cities and towns were spaced very nicely, there was a good balance of land and sea (by which I mean I barely remember any surfing, which I hate, so yay), and the Pokemon distribution was great. You didn't have to wait too long if you were looking for certain types of Pokémon. Electric didn't show up until after the first gym, but aside from that, I think they were dispersed pretty evenly.

So Johto got my vote. :3

Johto. Considering that gold version is my favorite version (of the ones I've played so far), then that's probably no big surprise. It's the region that sticks out in my mind the most, since it was (in my opinion) an improvement over Kanto, and Hoenn didn't impress me too much...no idea about any other region since I haven't played those games, but yeah. Plus I get a nice feeling of nostalgia whenever I think about it, something that most other regions don't give me.

It also contains a good deal of my top favorite pokemon, so that's yet another point for it. o/

I would have to vote for Kanto.
It has all of the Original Poke's.
Though the Kanto games may seem a little boring, they are Original. I do like how they are mostly based on the Pokemon Special Manga. Not to be opinionative, but Hoenn and Sinnoh were too colorful and new. The games were fun, but the Pokemon were crazy. I would be voting for Johto, because it has some good Poke's, and how it adds to the Kanto Originality, but Kanto came before all.

Johto because the buildings in them just seem nicer. XD
