RE: Phantom Hourglass
Erica, it's a Nintendo published game on a handheld. There won't be a price reduction. XD

Plus, the price is kinda cheap already in the first place, IMO. o_O

RE: Phantom Hourglass
No, I mean like...way down the line. When it becomes Player's Choice like Pokémon FireRed/LeafGreen and such. XD;

RE: Phantom Hourglass
That should happen...about 5 years from now. If they even do Player's Choice on the DS. Look how long it took for them to do it on the GBA. XD

RE: Phantom Hourglass
I might be waiting a while. Look how long it took me to get a Wii. It came out like, November, and June of this year, I finally got it.

But this isn't about systems.

If it's a DS game, about $40 or so, of course I'm going to be getting it probably a few days after it comes out. I just can't wait until it does, like all of you. A Zelda game for a handheld does seem to peak our curiosity to an extreme level.

RE: Phantom Hourglass
It's going to be $34.99 like most major first-party releases, I believe. Hopefully Circuit City will have it on sale like they had D/P though.

And why does a Zelda game for a handheld sound so new and different? There have been like...5. XD

I don't like the concept of all touch controls. It sounds rather boorish to me.

Yes, well, I'm really not in any hurry. Part of the reason I like the Legend of Zelda series is because I like sitting down to immerse myself in the world for hours on end. You just don't get that from a handheld game, I think. Undecided

RE: Phantom Hourglass
Well, you don't get that for $20 bucks either. $35 is the jizz.

IGN review is up. Got a 9.0, but they sound really unimpressed with the controls and the difficulty/linearity of it. They said that the dungeons are the easiest, shortest, and most linear dungeons of any Zelda yet, and that The Minish Cap is difficult compared to PH. Plus the controls are apparently imprecise, as I thought they'd be.

After reading the review, I'm really even more unimpressed with this game. I'll still get it, but I just don't think it's going to have that Zelda feel. =/
