Death Note
Who here thinks the Death Note anime has just been the greatest?

RE: Death Note
I prefer the manga. And I have to finish the anime, too. My brother and I stopped with about 6 episodes left to go or something. xD;

Overall, I love the series though. :D It's really good, though I have to admit my interest waned heavily after a certain plotpoint, but it came back in the end so it's all good.

RE: Death Note
Yeah I loved the manga too (I loved it as much as actually completing it), but It's so good to see it all come to life. What do you think about the dub version on adult swim?

RE: Death Note
I think the dub version is one of the best dubs I've heard in a while. Of course, I'm probably a little biased since I apparently fawn over L's voice because it's just too awesome, but...

I don't know if I'd call the Death Note anime the "greatest", but I've really enjoyed what I've seen of it. It actually makes me turn on my TV, which is an accomplishment in itself. :B I like the premise of the series; it's just so different from most others I tend to see nowadays.

RE: Death Note
Right I didn't mean to praise it to make it seem like the best in the world. Though it's much better than the manga in my impression. Just the way they're all alive, and despite taking away bleach for now, it beats blood and astro boy by a long point.

RE: Death Note
I've only seen the first episode of the Death Note dub. I was home for the weekend when it debuted here in Canada, but I haven't been able to see it since because I don't have cable here. D:

But, I was rather impressed. Of course, I didn't see enough to formulate the best opinion, but I liked Ryuk's voice and I liked Light's voice. (I prefer the Japanese for both but, hey, they were still great.) I would like to hear L and Misa, though. D:

Yeah, but like inuyasha, it will be back on before you know it.

RE: Death Note
I actually have a good theory that once they finnish repeats on weeknights (right now I think they're on Ichigo vs. Kenpachi) then things will go normal. They might even have new episodes on weeknights.
