Halloween!

[Ultimate Ridley]

I'm a bit late, but I'll share.

I was an Omega Metroid. Oh yeah. It was a mediocre yet convincing cosplay I created with my bare hands, a white cap and t-shirt, some paper, and fabric paint.

The shirt was the monster's torso, with the core. The hat was its head, and I had face paint depicting the eyes and what not.

I didn't trick or treat, though. I handed out candy. Though this year sucked because my high school had a football game that very night, (how fudging convenient, no?) so we only had maybe ten visitors because no one could skip a football game they could attend exactly seven days later so they don't miss out on a holiday. (my high school has, like, a game EVERY weekend, and no one could skip Halloween weekend's it seemed...) I played Spore that night as well, advancing to Space.

I ended up working for a good part of Halloween night, since I (kind of stupidly) said I could do the closing shift since no one else wanted to work that night. :I

And then when I got home, I ended up hiding away from all the kids since there was no way in the world I was about to willingly hand out candy at that time, haha. I've done it enough in the past, I hate doing it.

That's what happened here, and I heard there was even talk of possibly moving trick-or-treating around here to the next night (the freaking first of November) just so more people could have a chance to attend the football game at the high school. :[
