RE: Wii MotionPlus HUH??
I would think games that use it would require it, as it apparently enables true motion control that the Wiimote itself isn't capable of. We'll find out more tomorrow at E3, I'm sure.
And there looks to be a place in the bottom that you can remove to plug the nunchuck in.

RE: Wii MotionPlus HUH??
They're too busy developing the Wii that they aren't making games. I'm getting tired of this.
Definition: 'Love' is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope. Statement: This definition, I am told, is subject to interpretation. Obviously, love is a matter of odds. Not many meatbags could make such a shot, and fewer would derive love from it. Yet for me, love is knowing your target, putting them in your targeting reticle, and together, achieving a singular purpose, against statistically long odds. |

Dragonfolk2000 Wrote:They're too busy developing the Wii that they aren't making games. I'm getting tired of this. Well, they've more than likely heard that Microsoft is trying out a motion controller, so they wanted to keep theirs a step ahead, as to not fall behind with the one good thing they have that no one else does.. ![]() |

RE: Wii MotionPlus HUH??
*Sigh* Looks like I'm gonna have to buy Wii Sports Resort just to get this...
I like Wii Sport, but I don't wanna buy a game that'll more or less be the same thing. GHWT Wii checklist [ ] 5* all songs on Medium [x] FC Misery Business on Medium [x] FC Beat It on Medium [ ] FC Re-Education (Through Labor) on Medium [ ] Make a custom song that's actually good ![]() |

RE: Wii MotionPlus HUH??
After seeing this thing in action at E3, I have some high hopes for it (I think it would have been awesome for Red Steel).... sadly I don't have high hopes for Nintendo putting it to good use in many good games that people wants to play.

RE: Wii MotionPlus HUH??
My initial thoughts on Wii MotionPlus? "Why wasn't this bundled at launch?" Basically this is what everyone thought the Wii would be capable of from the get-go, but it wasn't. So while I am glad to see it now, I also feel it's a little late. <_<;
That said, think of the applications! *_* I was actually mildly impressed when they demonstrated some fencing during Nintendo's conference. It was probably the only thing that made me slightly happy during it! Of course, I'd much rather see it being put to good use in a game more worthwhile than Wii Sports Resort but it is a start, I suppose. I'd love to see a serious RPG or action-adventure game using this. It would definitely add a whole new level of interactivity to the game play. (Actually attacking and having to parry in battle instead of just shaking the controller madly? Sounds awesome!) I just really hope the third parties will put this to good use because like Andy, I really just don't see Nintendo going forward with much more than their own brand of shovelware for a while yet.
