Miyamoto said the Wii is well suited for the franchise and that the controls were working well in development. So what do you think? Hopefully we won't be swinging the Wiimote every time we want to throw a Pikmin but I'm really looking forward to it.

All I need, I didn't mind Wiimote+Nunchuk only controls in Tales of Symphonia much, but still...
I think the Pikmin port will be testing ground for the controls. We'll get a rough idea of what they're going for (granted, not entirely the same since Pikmin 3 would be developed solely for the Wii). They probably want some fan feedback before they progress further into Pikmin 3
