I don't even know why I'm saying this but right now I'm pissed off at the fact that not enough games utilise the rumble pack. Nintendo has failed at making a decent variety for every platform they've created so far (not including Wii).
I really believe many games can be improved by a lot just by adding rumble capabilities. >=(
Well, to be fair, the DS's rumble pack sucks ass, so...
But it's not surprising, I mean, Nintendo's not known for supporting their peripherals. See e-Reader, GCN broadband adapter, PowerGlove...
Wikipedia Wrote:The DS Rumble Pak was initially met with harsh criticism as reviewers pointed out the limited number of games compatible with the card (at the time only four were compatible). Reviewers also pointed out the annoying "squealing noise" or "electronic chirp" that the device made when 'rumbling'. IGN stated that "Good thing it's free, because at this point we wouldn't bother buying it as an extra." as they felt it was "broken".
Squeaking and chirping noise? Sounds pretty cheap to me considering it made people feel it was broken. I've seen it for sale when I go to Walmart, and their always stocked up.

Ugh, the E-Reader. I thought that thing was going to be pretty innovative (lol big mistake). The first time I used it, I thought it scanned like a credit card. So it didn't read the card when I swiped it fast, which was kind of wierd. I have a Mario Party E-Reader game (it's actually pretty fun), some packs of E-Reader Animal Crossing cards, and Pokemon E-Reader cards. But it sucks when you have to scan 8 different cards when you just want to play Donkey Kong. But it looks like I was wrong, Nintendo scraped that idea.
