Some of you guys probably knew already, but for those who don't...well, legendary birds are obtainable in this game, same goes for Regi trio.
They really have thought of everything. XD They are all at level 60 and will roam around Sinnoh as soon as you get the National Dex, and they all know Roost so this is going to be tough unless you manage to put them to sleep/freeze.
That's not it, I also got a Poketch function that was exclusive to Nintendo event in D/P too. It's Matchup Checker, forgot where I got it though.
Most of the legendaries are obtainable in this game, so we're missing few Pokemon that aren't obtainable in 4th gen, maybe a remake of certain game might cover that up, hmm...
You mean those who had to be transfered from the GameCube and then to the DS or from Emerald? xD Nice, DH, but I don't think that is a good reason for a GS remake, sadly. Bleh.
You know? From what I've seen, graphics have improved a lot, not that D/P weren't amazing. The HP thingies look much cooler as well. And Platinum's story is even bigger, and the games includes even more Pokémon. I mean, it's like a complete recopilation or something.
About the birds, though, I don't care. I have my nice birds caught in Kanto. ^^
Really, at this point, most people don't care about "new" stuff, because they aren't really new. =S
Yeah... I'd rather they add in all the dogs instead of the birds. :| We had our RBY remake. Stop teasing us with a GSC remake and announce it or else let there be an easier way of getting the legendaries from it. I dunno. I heard this and just kind of rolled my eyes.
I don't need the birds. The only news about Platinum I've heard so far that I care about is that Gardenia has a Cherrim, which just ends up making me sad because I'm going to have to fight one. XD
To me though, Platinum is really sounding to be the definitive Pokemon game - they fixed most of the complaints from D/P and have added in so much. It looks like Platinum has added the most of any third-game-of-a-gen since Yellow.
The birds are a really nice touch, although like Erica I would have preferred the dogs. The birds have really been overdone, but maybe we'll get a GS remake so we can get the dogs and Lugia/Ho-oh.
Sorry to change the topic, but has anyone heard about Zapdos learning Heat Wave? I suppose it would only matter to the competitive battlers, as now Celebi can't really counter the thing... Also, Salamence has Outrage in it's arsenal, so it'll end up Uber. XD
Lets see:
Legendary Birds in Sinnoh
Legendary Golems in Sinnoh
Legendary Pixies in Sinnoh
Legenda....wait. No dogs? >_<
I wouldn't be suprised for a GS remake now, but yeah, the birds in Sinnoh are interesting. At least I can actually fill the dex without migration. (Mainly because I hate migrating stuff)
Surfing speed has been fixed, it's much faster in this game. (and less wild encounter too, compared to DP.)
You have to admit, GS remakes are very likely.
I don't care much about legendary Pokemon I can catch in this game, it's not like I am going to use them.
I'm wondering about something though...why the heck did they let you catch Gible early? You can go into hidden Wayward Cave as soon as you have Cut, seriously.
Stop complaning you all. You got the dogs running in Kanto. 8( (Legendaries have been way lost through regions these last generations, it seems. XD)

I agree, and, OMG, the surfing speed was fixed. 8D

Are we talking about that Red/Blue remake that added nothing but a Pikachu on your back and Jessie and James, compared to Crystal's storyline change and Emerald's Battle Frontier and both Team Aqua & Magma being important? O_O
Yellow added a lot of TV-show specific events and characters. The inclusion of Pikachu, Jessie and James, the holders of the three starters, A.J., changing the gym rosters to match those of the TV show (for the most part), the surfing Pikachu minigame...
Crystal added the Suicune storyline, the Odd Egg, and a couple minor differences like animations. Emerald added the Battle Frontier, changed up gym rosters, and fleshed out the Magma/Aqua storyline. Both pretty minor compared to Yellow, and especially Platinum.
Platinum is looking quite beautiful. I'll probably get it when it comes out.
