Anyone here excited for Vesperia? =3 I sure as hell am. Instead of getting Metroid Prime 3, Legend of Spyro 2, and other things, I'm just gonna ask for money on my b-day this month so I might be able to get a 360 (Even if I don't get enough, I'll atleast be closer to getting one), and then be able to get the special edition of the game.

And yeah, a special edition of the game's being made in North America. ^^

IGN Vesperia Blog Post

Tales of Vesperia IGN Blog Wrote:Hi everyone, my name is Dennis Lee. I’m a senior marketing manager at Namco Bandai Games America working on Tales of Vesperia. Today I’d like to reveal something very exciting for all our fans – a special edition version of the game. Since it is the 10th anniversary of the Tales franchise here in North America and Vesperia marks an important new milestone for the series, we really wanted to prepare something special for all the fans that have followed the series for the past decade.

The special edition version of the game comes in a SteelBook case with its own unique cover art by longtime Tales character designer Kosuke Fujishima. The packaging itself is really high-quality, but what’s inside is even more exciting. We’ve combed through the music archives at Tales Studio in Japan and put together a bonus 10th anniversary soundtrack CD that will be included in every special edition package. Covering some of the series’ musical highlights from past and present, the CD contains 25 tracks, with 14 songs from Tales of Vesperia, two from Tales of Phantasia, two from Tales of Destiny, four from Tales of Symphonia and three from Tales of the Abyss.

The special edition version of Tales of Vesperia will be available in limited quantities exclusively through select retailers for a suggested retail price of $69.99. Tales of Vesperia ships to retailers on August 26, so check back here soon for more information about the game!
This game looks good i am gonna DEFINETLY get it Smile
I plan on getting it soon after it comes out since I'm probably getting a 360 next week. I want to get it on sale for $50 or something since I have a thing against paying $60 for a game, but damn that special edition is tempting, even for $70. @_@
I'm trying to get my hands on the Special Edition. It comes out in a little over a week and a half, but I can't get the Special Edition Pre-order anywhere. I got the Normal Edition on pre-order, but if I can't transfer it over to the Special Edition one then I'm just going to get my money back on it and just get the game whenever. Because I want the Special Edition one, the box for the normal is kind of blah.

xD I was wondering when you'd find this topic, lol. Last time I checked, you're a Tales fan, too. xD
I'd get it.

But being a Wii-only owner is such a curse.
Andy, apparently GS has the special edition up for pre-order now. Might want to try again.

I doubt I'll get ToV right when it comes out. I have the 360 now, but Eternal Sonata, Oblivion, and Fable are already added to my backlog list, plus the pile of games I needed to beat before I got the 360 (TP replay, Zack and Wiki, Trauma Center, etc.). I'll probably wait until it goes on sale somewhere, and I'd really like to get the special edition if I can.
