I'll tell you first that the game looks absolutely amazing. The graphics are heavenly, the gameplay seems to be revolutionary in a sense of freedom and creativity. You can create your own vehicle and approach required tasks from your own angle. The worlds look massive, epic.

This looks like an awesome game, but hell, I'm an avid Banjo fan, and it has been the major disappointment of the year to me (not counting Heath Ledger's untimely death, RIP). As a Banjo fan I expected a loyal platformer and sequel to Tooie. I didn't crave for a spin off... I wanted Banjo Threie.

Is this truly a Banjo game? Do you think it'll be fun to play? Has the franchise been killed? Are you waiting for a proper Threie? Do you think Rare has lost its heart?
Personally, I think just about everything lost it's heart when it comes to the video gaming in whole. I may exaggerate by this but... a lot of crappy games are being made, are made, or even being thought of. I'm not saying Banjo-Tooie or Nuts and Bolts is crappy and all, it's just that...

Some things really DO change....sorry if that didn't make sense, I have a major headache now x_X
What are you talking about? Banjo Threeie is right here.

Although seriously, I liked the first Banjo game. The second one required that you remembered EVERYTHING from the first game though. I had a pretty big gap between playing the first and playing the second. Back then, I would just rent games and play them.
I never played the first two Banjo games, but I do think that this is a big departure for the series and a big disappointment for those who ARE fans of Banjo. They've been waiting years for Banjo Threeie, and they finally get...a vehicle construction game.

The game itself looks gorgeous, the gameplay looks kinda meh-ish, but I'd have to see more and give it a try before judging it.
