The murkiest, gloomiest, creepiest, hardest and most serious 3D Zelda yet, probably. It certainly is what a sequel should be; loyal but innovative, the same formula, different flavor. And it tastes very good.

Toughts? any fans, haters?
i never finished it. i just never dug it as much as ocarina and didn't stick with it. maybe it'll beat it someday...

It was the hardest? I thought WW was harder

But I loved this game. Getting all the masks was pretty fun, and just playing through it was fun. The Stone Temple was great, and the game seems much faster with the Bunny Hood on 24/7. I wish I could still play my N64 to play it (Need to get it fixed soon)

Are you serious? Because that is simply not logical. I mean, MM might not be the definite hardest, but WW is so easy it's ridiculous. o.ó
I love the game, but I would have to agree with you on it being the most difficult.

The moon feel countless times before I realized how to get my ocarina. :/

I kinda phailed at WW. Restarted it a few hours ago

But yeah, I personally found MM to be moderately difficult, but I probably didn't think of it as too hard since it was so gosh darn fun.
MM was too short. It seemed to me that they didn't use all of the toys they gave you enough. As for WW, that game was great up until looking for the 'Triumph Forks'. Then I saw all the stuff I had to do in order to get everything in the game. I often found myself using the Tingle Tuner by myself. Apart from that, it's a great game.
I think what took time in MM was getting all the masks.

My favorite of which was the Bomb Mask Big Grin
It's probably my least favorite 3D Zelda, but that's not saying much since they're all remarkable. I loved the storyline, and I loved all the characters and the dark feel of it all. It definitely succeeds in having a dark, more mature storyline much better than TP did. But at the same time, the concentration on sidequests, the stupid save system, and the fact that you had to sit and wait a lot for stuff to happen really turned me off of the game. The dungeon design was nowhere near as good as Ocarina's either.

It was definitely the hardest 3D Zelda though - I'll give it that.
The dungeon design is sometimes ridiculous but sometimes very bright in there. You can't say the water dungeon wasn't well planned, for instance... But yeah, it contrasts with the solid and constantly smart design of OoT.
